Warranty Policy
Warranty Policy
At Unboxing Tech, warranty coverage is provided according to the warranty terms applicable to each individual product. Depending on the product, warranty may be provided by the manufacturer, authorized distributor, importer, brand, or Unboxing Tech.
Customers are requested to check the warranty type and duration mentioned on the product page, invoice, warranty card, or product packaging before purchasing.
Warranty Coverage
A product may qualify for warranty service if it develops an eligible manufacturing or functional defect during the applicable warranty period under normal usage.
Warranty coverage varies by product and brand. Depending on the applicable policy, the solution may include:
-
Product inspection
-
Troubleshooting
-
Software support
-
Repair
-
Parts replacement
-
Product replacement where applicable
-
Other solutions offered by the relevant warranty provider
A warranty does not automatically guarantee immediate replacement or refund.
Warranty Period
The warranty period varies depending on the product, brand, model, and warranty provider.
For example, different products may include:
-
Manufacturer Warranty
-
Official Distributor Warranty
-
Importer Warranty
-
Seller/Service Warranty
-
Replacement Warranty
-
No Warranty
The warranty duration displayed on the individual product page or invoice will apply to that purchase.
Proof of Purchase
Customers should keep the original invoice or valid proof of purchase throughout the warranty period.
An invoice, order number, serial number, IMEI, warranty card, or other information may be required to verify warranty eligibility.
If the purchase cannot reasonably be verified, warranty service may be unavailable.
What Is Generally Covered?
Subject to the applicable brand or product warranty, eligible issues may include manufacturing defects affecting the normal operation of the product.
Examples may include qualifying problems involving:
-
Internal hardware
-
Display functionality
-
Charging functionality
-
Buttons or controls
-
Connectivity
-
Speaker or microphone
-
Battery-related manufacturing defects
-
Other internal components
Coverage depends entirely on the warranty terms of the specific product and the findings of technical inspection.
What Is Not Covered by Warranty?
Unless specifically covered by the applicable warranty provider, warranty generally does not cover:
-
Physical damage
-
Broken or cracked display
-
Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage
-
Water or liquid damage
-
Fire or burn damage
-
Damage caused by dropping or impact
-
Improper or careless use
-
Damage caused by incorrect voltage or charging
-
Use of incompatible or poor-quality accessories
-
Unauthorized repair or modification
-
Opened, altered, or tampered products
-
Missing or damaged serial number/IMEI
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Damage caused by accidents
-
Loss or theft
-
Consumable components unless specifically covered
Water Resistance
A product advertised with an IP rating or water-resistance rating should not automatically be considered completely waterproof.
Water resistance can decrease over time and may depend on usage conditions, temperature, pressure, seals, physical damage, and manufacturer instructions.
Unless expressly covered by the applicable manufacturer or warranty provider, liquid or water damage is generally not covered under warranty.
Battery Warranty
Battery performance naturally decreases over time through regular use.
Normal battery degradation is generally not considered a manufacturing defect. However, a battery may qualify for warranty service if an eligible manufacturing fault is identified within the applicable warranty period.
Battery warranty conditions may differ from the main product warranty.
Software & Compatibility Issues
Warranty generally does not cover issues caused solely by:
-
Third-party applications
-
Unsupported software
-
Operating system updates
-
Incorrect settings
-
Account-related problems
-
Network/operator restrictions
-
Regional compatibility limitations
-
Modified or unauthorized software
Our support team may assist with basic troubleshooting where possible.
Official & International/Importer Warranty
Products available through Unboxing Tech may have different warranty arrangements.
An official warranty may be handled by the manufacturer's authorized service network or distributor, while an importer or seller warranty may be processed through the specified importer, seller, or service provider.
Customers should check the exact Warranty Type displayed on the product page before ordering.
Accessories Warranty
Warranty periods for accessories such as chargers, cables, adapters, earbuds, power banks, smartwatch straps, cases, and other accessories may differ from the main device warranty.
Some accessories or complimentary items may have limited or no warranty unless specifically stated.
Warranty Claim Process
To request warranty service, customers should contact Unboxing Tech Customer Support and provide:
-
Original invoice or order number
-
Customer name and mobile number
-
Product name and model
-
Serial number or IMEI where applicable
-
Clear description of the problem
-
Photos or videos where requested
-
Warranty card where applicable
The product may need to be submitted for inspection.
Technical Inspection
A warranty claim may require inspection by Unboxing Tech or the applicable manufacturer, distributor, importer, authorized service center, or technical service provider.
The inspection will determine whether the issue qualifies under the applicable warranty.
Inspection and service time may vary depending on the product, issue, parts availability, and warranty provider.
Repair or Replacement
If a warranty claim is approved, the applicable warranty provider will determine the appropriate solution according to its policy.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement of a component, product replacement, or another appropriate remedy.
Customers cannot automatically demand a new replacement product when an eligible issue can be resolved through warranty repair.
Warranty Service Time
Warranty processing time depends on the nature of the problem, product type, availability of spare parts, and the service procedure of the manufacturer, distributor, importer, or service center.
Unboxing Tech will make reasonable efforts to assist customers, but service timelines controlled by third-party warranty providers may be outside our direct control.
Data Backup
Before submitting a smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, laptop, or other data-containing device for warranty service, customers should back up important information and remove sensitive data where possible.
A device may need to be reset, repaired, or replaced during service. Unboxing Tech cannot guarantee preservation of personal files, applications, accounts, settings, photos, or other stored information during warranty processing.
Warranty Is Different from Exchange & Refund
Warranty, exchange, and refund are separate processes.
A product that is no longer eligible for immediate exchange may still qualify for warranty service during its applicable warranty period.
Please review our Exchange Policy and Return & Refund Policy for the relevant conditions.
Final Warranty Decision
Final warranty eligibility is determined according to the applicable product warranty terms and technical inspection.
Unboxing Tech reserves the right to decline warranty claims involving excluded damage, misuse, unauthorized modification, or other conditions outside the applicable warranty coverage, subject to any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
Policy Updates
Unboxing Tech may update this Warranty Policy when required due to changes in manufacturer policies, service arrangements, products, business practices, or applicable requirements.
The latest version published on our website will apply from its stated effective date.
